CH-53K Tooling Procurement 3, Full Rate Production

The Naval Air System Command awarded Delivery Order N00019-19-G-0029-N00019-22-F-2312 with Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., a Lockheed Martin Co., Stratford, Connecticut, to provide rate tooling and non-recurring engineering in support of achieving a production quantity at full rate of up to twenty-four CH-53K aircraft per year. This procurement was procured in accordance with the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2), in that Sikorsky is the only known source possessing the requisite knowledge, technical expertise, special skills, technical data, facilities, and experience to provide the logistics support on the CH-53K.
