CH-53K® Main Rotor Damper Improvement Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE)   2

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has awarded a Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee delivery order (N0001923F0364) under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-19-G-0029 to Sikorsky, A Lockheed Martin Company to procure NRE for the CH-53K Main Rotor Damper Improvement effort. The delivery order was awarded to the Sikorsky in the amount of $634,770.

This acquisition was pursued on a sole-source basis under statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(1), "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. This effort is covered under the Class Justification and Approval (CJ&A) number 20-0508, dated 15 December 2020 redacted version attached to this announcement.
