CH-53K DDSR Phase III Option 2

The Naval Air System Command awarded a modification to exercise an option to Contract N00019-19-G-0029-N00019-19-F-2972 with Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., a Lockheed Martin Co., Stratford, Connecticut, to provide the initial and final technical directive to install the data transfer unit and Defensive Electronic Countermeasure System Replacement Phase III ARC-210 components into the CH-53K aircraft, support flight planning and testing of the components and supportability products for the U.S. Navy.. This procurement was procured in accordance with the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2), in that Sikorsky is the only known source possessing the requisite knowledge, technical expertise, special skills, technical data, facilities, and experience to provide the logistics support on the CH-53K.

Work will be performed in Stratford, Connecticut (37%); Patuxent River, Maryland (28%); Cedar Rapids, Iowa (15%); Bohemia, New York (11%); Fort Worth, Texas (5%); West Palm Beach, Florida (2%); and Owego, New York (2%), and is expected to be completed in April 2025.
