CH-53K Cabin Armor Retrofit Support Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE)

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has awarded a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) delivery order (N0001923F0104) under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-19-G-0029 to the Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, A Lockheed Martin Company to procure CH-53K Cabin Armor Retrofit Support NRE. The delivery order was awarded to the Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation in the amount of $877,269.

This acquisition was pursued on a sole-source basis under statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(1), "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. This effort is covered under the Class Justification and Approval (CJ&A) number 20-0508, dated 15 December 2020 redacted version attached to this announcement.
