CGC Harry Clariborne Drydock Repairs   2

Background
The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) is seeking sources capable of providing dry dock repairs for the USCGC Harry Claiborne (WLI-642). This initiative is part of the agency's mission to maintain and enhance the operational readiness of its vessels. The contract will be awarded through the Surface Forces Logistics Center located in Norfolk, VA.

Work Details
The scope of work for the USCGC Harry Claiborne dry dock maintenance includes a comprehensive list of tasks:

- Fire Prevention Requirements
- Hull Plating inspections and preservation
- Ultrasonic Testing of underwater body
- Cleaning and inspecting various tanks including potable water, ballast, and sewage
- Servicing hydraulic winches and anchor windlasses
- Overhauling sea valves and strainers
- Preserving tanks and voids
- Cleaning bilges and deck coverings
- Renewing components such as the port aft hatch, drop ceiling tiles, and independent NACE inspector services.

The work will also involve conducting a cutter sea trial performance support and upgrading Doppler speed log systems.

Period of Performance
The anticipated period of performance is approximately ninety days, starting on or about May 5, 2026, and ending on or about August 3, 2026. These dates are subject to change at the discretion of the government.

Place of Performance
The contract work will be performed at the contractor’s dry dock facility.
