CES - Repair Roof Bldg 37   2

Background
The Wyoming National Guard is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) to award a single firm fixed-price contract for the construction project involving the removal of the existing roof membrane and installation of Sprayed Polyurethane Foam (SPF) roofs for Building 37 at the Wyoming Air National Guard base in Cheyenne, WY. This project is set aside 100% for Small Businesses. The magnitude of construction is estimated to be between $250,000 and $500,000.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, equipment, materials, tools, transportation, appliances, and supervision necessary to complete the following tasks: remove the existing roof membrane and install SPF roofs on Building 37. Additionally, the parapet caps and metal flashing across all roofs within the project scope shall be replaced to match existing conditions.

Period of Performance
The contract duration will be 365 calendar days after notice to proceed, which includes time for inspection and punch list completion.

Bidder Requirements
This solicitation is set aside 100% for Small Businesses. Bidders must comply with bonding requirements and hold appropriate contractor licenses. The contract stipulates that no more than 85 percent of the amount paid by the Government for contract performance can be paid to subcontractors that are not similarly situated entities.
