Ceremonial Organist

Background
The solicitation is for a non-personal services contract to provide Musician Services (Organist, Pianist/Keyboardist) to support funerals, ceremonies, special services for Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall on an as-needed basis. The contractor shall facilitate the communal, public worship life and the military ceremonial honoring of fallen servicemembers through provision of ceremonial organ music in collaboration with Military Chaplains, Chaplain Staff, Religious Affairs Specialists, and Civilian workforce.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform Musician Services as defined in this Performance Work Statement except for those items specified as government furnished property and services. The contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract. The contractor shall provide Organ Musical Support at appropriate skill level which is SMP Level 9 and possess a Masters Degree in Sacred Music or related field. Contractor shall participate in rehearsal services as required for the worship service or military ceremony IAW the COR. The Contractor shall arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled event and remain 5 minutes following the benediction.

Period of Performance
The period of performance shall be for one (1) Base Year of 12 months and four (4) 12-month option years and will be determined at the time of award.

Place of Performance
Performance is at a Government Facility. Therefore, Part 45.000(b)(5) applies. Specifically, Government property that is incidental to the place of performance when the contract requires contractor personnel to be located on a Government site or installation.
