Background
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Ames Research Center (ARC) has released preliminary information for the Center Occupational Safety, Health, Medical, System Safety and Mission Assurance Contract (COSMC). The draft Performance Work Statement and draft Data Requirements Descriptions are provided for potential offerors to review. The government is not soliciting questions or industry feedback at this time, and a Request for Proposals (RFP) will be issued at a later date.

Work Details
The tasks under the contract include providing an IT Security Management Plan to safeguard IT services provided to NASA, including management, operation, maintenance, development, and administration of hardware, software, firmware, computer systems, networks, and telecommunications systems. The contractor is also required to provide IT Security Training for all federal employees, contractors, students and associates who use NASA Federal IT assets and information.
Additionally, the contractor shall provide procedures to identify potential conflicts arising from performance of listed contracts and discuss any conflicts that may arise. Furthermore, the contractor is required to publish a fiscal year schedule of available courses in a Training Catalog. The contractor shall also electronically submit Individual Subcontracting Report (ISR) and Summary Subcontracting Report (SSR) into the Electronic Subcontracting Reporting System (ESRS). Moreover, the contractor is required to provide information on labor resources and associated cost for follow-on procurement activities in the Re-Procurement Incumbent Compensation Data Package.
