CEM Corporation MARS6 Microwave Digestion System Service and Maintenance   2

The US Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) intends to issue an award on a sole source basis (IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)) to CEM Corporation, 3100 Smith Farm Road, Matthews, NC 28104-5044 for the requirement of service contract for MARS6 Microwave Digestion System. The tasks and deliverables for services should include one scheduled preventive maintenance, shipping for unlimited repairs at the factory using OEM parts, and a loaner instrument if the repaired instrument cannot be returned within 36 business hours during the contract period. All service shall be performed by a CEM Corporation certified technician.

The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 811219. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for this requirement. However, parties interested in responding to this notice shall submit technical data sufficient to determine capability in providing the same or similar supply. All capability statements received by the closing date of this publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
