Project Description: The United States Army Corps of Engineers Memphis District has a requirement for stone dike construction in the Mississippi River at Cedar Point, Tipton County, Tennessee (Mississippi River Mile 759L Above the Head of Passes). The work to be accomplished consists of placement of approximately 320,000 tons of Graded Stone A to raise and extend two dikes and construct one new trail dike.

Work Location: The work for this project is located at Cedar Point, Tipton County, Tennessee. The exact location will be indicated on the contract drawings. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this project is 237990: Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, with a Small Business Size Standard of $45M.

Acquisition Strategy: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Memphis District (MVM) proposes to advertise this project as Un-Restricted.

Magnitude of Work: Between $10,000,000 and $20,000,000

Invitation for Bid: Will be issued on/about 10 AUG 2023

Bid Opening Date: On/About 11 SEP 2023

The resulting contract will be Firm-Fixed Price (FFP). The government reserves the right to award a contract from this solicitation. The Solicitation Number will be W912EQ23B0009.
