Background
This solicitation is issued by the Department of the Army, Galveston District, Corps of Engineers for the FY24 Cedar Bayou Navigation Channel project in Chambers County, Texas. The mission of the agency is to maintain and improve navigation channels, ensuring safe and efficient waterway transportation. The goal of this contract is to perform maintenance dredging and related tasks to enhance the navigability of the Cedar Bayou Navigation Channel.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and perform all tasks necessary for the following requirements as per the provided plans and specifications:

1. Mobilization & Demobilization (Job) - Complete mobilization and demobilization activities.

2. Pipeline Management Cedar Bayou (Job) - Manage pipeline operations as specified in Schedule 1.

3. Dredging - Perform dredging operations for Cedar Bayou Sections 4-7, involving approximately 108,000 cubic yards from STA 130+00.00 to STA 282+13.17.

4. Site Management - Provide site management services in accordance with plans and specifications for PA 6.

5. Option Pipeline Management (Job) - Additional pipeline management tasks as specified in Option 1.

6. Option Dredging Cedar Bayou Sections 1-3 - Perform dredging operations for an additional 48,000 cubic yards from STA 4+99.10 to STA 130+00.00 as specified in Option 1.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of approximately 135 days after notice to proceed for initial tasks and an additional period of approximately 40 days for optional tasks.
