Description

The Office of Hydrogen with Carbon Management (FE-221), U.S. Department of Energy plans to renew membership in the Centre for Energy Advancement through Technological Innovation (CEATI International, Inc.)

The CEATI Thermal Generation Interest Group (TGIG) brings together participants from thermal generation and related industries to identify immediate design, operational, and maintenance issues, and to monitor and develop emerging thermal technologies. Through collaboration on specific projects, the group delivers cost effective technological and asset management solutions to meet today's industry needs.

The CEATI TGIG is considered the recognized world leader in the organization, promotion, and advancement of thermal technologies worldwide. Given that the current emphasis of the US DOE's Carbon Management Program in the establishment of credible advanced power plant technologies (including commercial deployment), having a partnership with CEATI is an important and key deliverable.

The Government intends to award a sole source purchase order to the Centre for Energy Advancement through Technological Innovation (CEATI International, Inc. The period of performance for this award will be one (1) year from April 5, 2022 through April 4, 2023 in the amount of $27,700.00.

The award will be issued via other than full and open competition, only one responsible source and no other supplies and services will satisfy agency requirements.

This is a NOTICE OF INTENT; no solicitation is available for this requirement. If a firm believes DOE should not pursue this sole source procurement with the Centre for Energy Advancement through Technological Innovation, then interested parties may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency NO LATER THAN 15 days from posting date via e-mail to Ann.Miller@hq.doe.gov. The written response must include a general statement for services indicated in this announcement and past performance client information for a similar product.

A determination by the Government to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct this requirement competitively in the future.
