Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is seeking a contractor to provide an electronic classification system for their Human Resources Office (HRO). The HRO is looking to modernize their HR systems and automate the manual process of creating, editing, and tracking classification documents. The system should also integrate with other CDC HR systems such as USA Staffing and Enterprise Human Capital Management. The contractor will need expertise in project management, standardized processes tools, and understanding of OPM Classification methodologies. The duration of the acquisition is TBD.

The scope of work includes developing a user-friendly interface, providing training and communications support, workflow development for position description reviews, cloud implementation, integrations with other CDC HR systems, and operations and maintenance across various platforms. The system should also have reporting capabilities and the ability to use artificial intelligence for job analysis and assessment questions. The goal of the project is to enhance customer experience, reduce manual processes, meet hiring timelines, and improve analytics and performance metrics.

The contractor will need to provide resources such as project management office support, IT/system administration support, training and communications support, architects, developers, and business analysts. The period of performance is TBD and includes development, testing, deployment, fixes, and migration to the CDC ServiceNow platform. The cost breakdown includes new development costs, migration costs, operations & maintenance costs, bi-directional integration costs, and electronic classification license costs. Monthly technical progress reports will be required throughout the contract period.
