Background
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) Center for Forecasting and Outbreak Analytics (CFA) aims to provide timely analyses relevant to decisions about outbreak control, using a variety of data sources. The primary goal is to acquire the capacity to use a data analysis environment (DAE) through collaborations with Contractor’s own analysts to conduct analyses in real time to inform decisions about how to respond to outbreaks.

Work Details
The contract requires the Contractor to provide indirect access to large-scale de-identified United States health care data of millions of patients, including electronic medical records and adjudicated and prejudicated administrative claims data sources using a distributed data network. The Contractor is also responsible for providing access via collaborative analysis after abstraction by the contractor’s personnel to full medical charts of patients, developing a quality assessment plan for each database, providing analytic capabilities such as epidemiologists, statisticians or data scientists, experts on their databases, computer programmers, and project managers, conducting studies as requested by CFA, obtaining patients’ medical charts for certain studies in a timely manner, and providing program management for the CFA Data Analysis Environment.

Period of Performance
The period of performance is estimated from 8/01/2023-7/31/2024 for the base period with options for additional 12-month periods until 7/31/2028.

Place of Performance
Work will be primarily at off-site locations.
