The C/D band Radar Warning Receiver Antenna provides adversary acquisition radar information to the F-16 Radar Warning
System. The F-16 Radar Warning System provides information threat radar data to allow penetration/suppression of air
defense systems using electronic warfare systems and anti-radiation weapons. The C/D band Antenna is used on all USAF Block 25/30/40/42/50/52 F-16s and on many foreign F-16s.

The C/D band Antenna must function in the extreme F-16 flight environment. CD Band Antennas must meet specific
temperature, shock, and vibration conditions. The C/D band Antenna must function with existing F-16 computers and
interfaces. No commercial equivalent exists.
