This notice is published IAW FAR Subpart 5.2, Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions.

The U.S Customs and Border Protection intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the procurement of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), U.S. Border Patrol (USBP), Tucson Sector, Bottled Water Delivery. This requirement is for the provision and delivery of commercially available bottled drinking water in support of detainees held in temporary holding facilities. The supplies are being procured IAW the stated salient characteristics included in the Statement of Work (SOW). It is the intent of CBP to procure commercially available supplies.

The NAICS code applicable to this acquisition is 312112 Bottled Water Manufacturing which has a size standard of 1,100 Employees.

It is anticipated that a firm-fixed-price, contract will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures.

It is anticipated that a Request for Quotations (RFQ) will be issued via the System for Award Management (SAM) as a total small business set-aside.

The solicitation documents will be issued on or about 18 March, 2025.

All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency.

In order to be considered for award, vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. Vendors not already registered in SAM are strongly encouraged to register as soon as possible.

Background
