Background
The contract is issued by MCINCR - RCO, Quantico, VA, for the procurement of caustic soda to be used at the MAINSIDE Water Treatment Plant and Wastewater Treatment Plant.

Work Details
The contract requires the supply of liquid form caustic soda containing 25% Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH). The contractor must ensure shipment in tank trucks that meet all Federal, State, and local regulations.

The transportation capability should be at least 48,000 pounds or 4,800 gallons per delivery. Tank trucks must have a 2” and a 4” pump fill hookup for offloading. A Certificate of Analysis certifying compliance with American Water Works Association Standard (AWWA) B501-88 is required.
