Background
The Ohio Army National Guard is seeking bids for meals and serving of meals at Camp Sherman. The meals are required to support soldiers in the Ohio Army National Guard training at Camp Sherman, Chillicothe, Ohio. The meals are expected to be well-rounded and healthy, with serving sizes consistent with the Army Recipe card TM 10-412. The contractor will provide a menu which will include required components of a nutritionally balanced meal.

Work Details
The contract requires catering services to provide hot buffet-style breakfasts and dinners at Camp Sherman, Chillicothe, Ohio from 28 JUL 2024 to 10 AUG 2024. The total meal headcount is 4,050, including 1,950 total breakfasts and 2,100 total dinners.
The menu for hot buffet-style dinner includes one meat entrée, appropriate sauce or gravy to accompany entrée, one starch, one vegetable, assorted grain items (bread and rolls), fresh fruit, assorted desserts, appropriate condiments (e.g. hot sauce), coffee, 1% or 2% milk, and other beverages (no bottled water).
The menu for hot buffet-style breakfast includes eggs (scrambled, casserole, or quiche), one serving of breakfast meat (sausage, bacon, or hash), assorted grain items (bagel, biscuit, English muffin, or toast), fresh fruit (apples, bananas, oranges), one pastry (muffins, donuts, cinnamon rolls), one potato choice, assorted cold cereal in individual cartons, condiments to accompany the meal (hot sauce, jelly, butter), coffee, 1% or 2% milk in individual cartons, and one other beverage (100% juice, tea).
