Catalina Employee Gate Area Modification

Background
The solicitation is for the modification of the Catalina Employee Gate Area at El Yunque National Forest Headquarters in Palmer, P.R. The work site is between the Catalina Supervisor’s Office Employee and Visitor Parking lots. The magnitude of this requirement is considered minor, with an expected price range less than $25,000.

Work Details
The contractor is required to furnish and install a new dual combo lock, modify existing pedestrian gate, and install a concrete pad and stairs.
The work includes tasks such as modifying, priming, and painting gate pickets, site preparation for new stairs and slab, constructing and installing concrete slab and reinforced concrete steps, as well as sloping to grade.
The contractor must complete the work within 60 calendar days after receiving the notice to proceed.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the contract is from May 1, 2023, to July 31, 2023.
