Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - Vicksburg District (USACE-MVK) is seeking to procure parts necessary for overhauling the engines of the Marine Generator Sets on the Motor Vessel Benyaurd. The agency's mission includes maintaining and operating water resources infrastructure, and this contract aims to ensure the operational readiness of the vessel's generator systems.

Work Details
The contractor is required to deliver parts for overhauling two CAT 3406B Marine Generator Sets on the M/V Benyaurd. The overhaul is necessary as the engines are approaching their third overhaul cycle, with specific tasks including:

- Delivering two CAT Reman 3406B Long Blocks.
- Delivering two new/remanufactured injector pumps.
- Delivering new isolators for both generator sets, which are custom built per generator set.
- Performing a dynamometer test at a Caterpillar facility on assembled engines to verify horsepower and torque specifications.
- Conducting a start-up/sea trial to time and tune engine governor load sharing and ensure synchronized electrical power generation.

All parts, gaskets, seals, and materials must be genuine OEM Caterpillar products.

Period of Performance
All parts shall be delivered no later than January 31, 2025.

Place of Performance
The delivery location for all parts is M/V Benyaurd, 2577 Haining Rd, Vicksburg, MS 39183.
