Background
The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) - Rock Island District has issued a construction requirement for asbestos removal and demolition at two locations: Cassville Cottage in Cassville, WI, and Clinton County Cottage Pool 13, Cottage 4379 in Clinton County, IA. The goal of this contract is to ensure the safe removal of asbestos-containing materials and the demolition of structures as part of their commitment to maintaining safe environments.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
1. For Cassville Cottage:
a. Abatement/Removal of all asbestos containing materials.
b. Demolition of the cottage, foundations, and slabs including the driveway.
c. Backfilling the basement and burying it at a minimum grade of three feet.
d. Regrading disturbed areas and applying grass seed.

2. For Clinton County Cottage 4379:
a. Abatement/Removal of all asbestos containing materials.

All work for both line items must be completed within six weeks after the contract agreement has been signed.

The geographic locations for performance are: 1) Cassville Cottage located at 7101 Closing Dam Road, Cassville, WI 53806; 2) Clinton County Cottage Pool 13 (Cottage 4379), Clinton County, Iowa.
