Background
The Cass Job Corps Center, administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Forest Service, is seeking a contractor to provide cleaning services for two potable water storage tanks located in Ozark, Arkansas.

The Job Corps program aims to address barriers to employment for disadvantaged youth through training and support services. This contract is part of the USDA's efforts to maintain safe and functional water systems at its facilities.

Work Details
The contractor will perform cleaning and inspection services for two potable water storage tanks with capacities of approximately 20,000 and 30,000 gallons. Tasks include:
1. Isolating the tanks from the campus distribution system prior to cleaning and inspection.
2. Thoroughly cleaning any accumulated sediment, algae growth, or other materials that obstruct surfaces to be inspected.
3. Conducting interior and exterior inspections focusing on structure, sanitary conditions, safety, security, and installed coatings.
4. Reporting findings based on established inspection criteria from OSHA, EPA, AWWA, and Arkansas Department of Health guidelines.
5. Inspecting various components including inlets/outlets, ladders, shell, roof, vents, walls/floors, baffles/support walls, sumps, manways, welds/joints/seams, foundation/anchors, safety systems, hatches/liners/coatings, telemetry systems, sediment depths, external overflow systems and plumbing.

Period of Performance
The contract period is from February 5, 2025 to March 7, 2025.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Cass Job Corps Center located at 21424 North Highway 23, Ozark, AR 72949.
