Background
This solicitation is issued by the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD) located in Indian Head, Maryland. The mission of NSWC IHD is to provide technical expertise and support for various naval operations. The goal of this contract is to establish a Blanket Ordering Agreement (BOA) for carpentry services that will facilitate the repair, installation, and construction of various wooden structures and frameworks as needed by the agency over a five-year period.

Work Details
The work under this contract includes providing labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and testing for carpentry-related projects. Types of projects include but are not limited to: repairing, installing, or providing new building frameworks such as roofs, walls, floors, windows and window frames, doors and door frames, stairs and landings, decks, flooring, roofing, caseworks, interior carpentry, floor beams, wooden fixtures, non-building wooden structures, platforms, foundations, painting, and finishes.

Additionally, any other incidental construction trades required to complete each project are included. All work must comply with applicable federal, state and local codes and standards including NAVSEA OP-5 Ammunition and Explosives Safety Ashore and the Unified Facilities Criteria.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this BOA is five years from the effective date of the Master BOA.
