Naval Special Warfare Command (CNSWC) requires contractor support in the area of career transition for their senior military service members transitioning from a military career to a civilian career.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with FAR 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.

Background
The Naval Special Warfare Command (CNSWC) requires contractor support for senior military service members transitioning from military careers to civilian careers. The goal of this contract is to provide comprehensive career transition seminars that equip these individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge for successful re-employment.

The CNSWC Career Management and Transition Seminar aims to deliver information on transition benefits, job assistance workshops, and automated employment tools in a supportive learning environment.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide career management seminars four times per year, which includes the following tasks:

1) Develop course and course-related materials, including a student guide that equips military service members with skills for a successful career search. The course content will cover topics such as evaluating new careers, building resumes, networking, marketing oneself, coping with retirement stress, effective communication, job interview techniques, research preparation, salary negotiation skills, and utilizing social media.

2) Conduct a three-day intensive career transition seminar featuring participatory discussions on job search organization, salary negotiation strategies, and two days of one-on-one job interview practice and resume screening.

Period of Performance
The period of performance is five years, consisting of a one-year base period followed by four option periods. The base period starts from the date of award and extends through Day 365. Each option period is defined as follows: Option One (Day 366 - Day 731), Option Two (Day 732 - Day 1,097), Option Three (Day 1,098 - Day 1,463), and Option Four (Day 1,464 - Day 1,829).

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at various locations as specified by the Naval Special Warfare Command.
