Background
The National Park Service (NPS) is issuing this contract for post-construction seeding at Capitol Reef National Park, with the goal of revegetating areas impacted by construction activities. This initiative aligns with the NPS's mission to preserve natural resources and enhance visitor experiences in national parks.

Work Details
The scope of work includes revegetation efforts in specific areas of Capitol Reef National Park: Scenic Drive, Chimney Rock parking lot, Capitol Gorge parking lot, Visitor Center parking lot, Grand Wash parking lot, and Pendleton Pasture. The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:

- Proper techniques for plant installation and seed applications including traffic control/safety planning.
- Execution of broadcast seeding, soil preparation, drill seeding, two-step hydroseeding, mulching calibration, and nursery-grown plant installation and watering.
- Calibration of equipment to meet seeding application rates as defined in contract specifications.
- Ensuring seed is received properly for use with different box settings of drill-seeding equipment.
- Accurate application of mulching rates as specified in the contract.
- Effective communication with NPS staff throughout the project.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract will commence upon award and extend through December 30, 2026.
