Description

This announcement constitutes a SOURCES SOUGHT for information and planning purposes to identify qualified and experienced sources for an anticipated Firm Fixed Price (FFP) award to provide and deliver Capstan Parts for the USS Oak Hill. This sources sought notice does not constitute as a Request for Quote (RFQ) nor does its issuance restrict the Government as to the ultimate decision of the acquisition approach. The Government will not reimburse the contractor for any cost associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION.
Background
This announcement constitutes a SOURCES SOUGHT for information and planning purposes to identify qualified and experienced sources for an anticipated Firm Fixed Price (FFP) award to provide and deliver Capstan Parts for the USS Oak Hill.

The Government's mission is to ensure the operational readiness of the USS Oak Hill LSD-51 through the procurement of necessary parts. This sources sought notice does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ) nor does its issuance restrict the Government as to the ultimate decision of the acquisition approach.

Work Details
The Contractor shall supply and deliver the following parts:
1. LOW SPEED PINION - 1 EA, Part # 2C1-326, NSN S9582-AP-MMA-010, PIECE #5
2. LOW SPEED INTERMEDIATE GEAR - 1 EA, Part # 2C1-328, NSN S9582-AP-MMA-010, PIECE #6
3. LOW SPEED INTERMEDIATE PINION - 1 EA, Part # 2B1-837, NSN S9582-AP-MMA-010, PIECE #8
4. HIGH SPEED INTERMEDIATE GEAR - 1 EA, Part # 2C1-327, NSN S9582-AP-MMA-010, PIECE #9
5. HIGH SPEED GEAR - 1 EA, Part # 2C1-329, NSN S9582-AP-MMA-010, PIECE #11
6. HIGH SPEED PINION - 1 EA, Part # 2B1-838, NSN S9582-AP-MMA-010, PIECE #13.

All materials must comply with specified technical manuals.

Period of Performance
Required Date of Delivery: June 14, 2025 or best possible.

Place of Performance
Delivery shall be made to DLA Distribution Norfolk RMC PROJ, Bunker Hill Towaway Bldg. X136, Norfolk, VA 23511.
