Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Building Organizational Capability Training

Background
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) is a Department of Defense entity responsible for research and development, test and evaluation, engineering, and fleet support for the Navy's ships, submarines, military watercraft, and unmanned vehicles.

This contract aims to procure two virtual Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Building Organizational Capability training sessions to enhance workforce competency in CMMI V3.0, as NSWCPD has no certified personnel in this area. The training is crucial for aligning NSWCPD's guidance and procedures with CMMI V3.0 standards.

Work Details
The contractor shall plan, prepare, manage, and conduct a CMMI Institute sanctioned Building Organizational Capability Course. This includes:
1) Providing course completion certificates for each passing student;
2) Granting 30-day licensure to the new CMMI viewer via the CMMI Institute website;
3) Providing access to the CMMI Practitioner Certification Exam;
4) Supplying supplemental reading materials required for course administration;
5) Preparing NSWCPD personnel for training;
6) Conducting the training within thirty days after contract award;
7) Ensuring that classes consist of no more than fifteen participants per event/cohort;
8) Delivering exam vouchers for certification exams to each registered employee. The contractor must also fulfill additional administrative requirements as mandated by the CMMI Institute.

Period of Performance
Training shall occur no later than thirty (30) days after award of contract.

Place of Performance
Virtual training sessions.
