Background
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is seeking quotations for construction services to continue the exterior restoration of the historic Canyon Creek Stage Station, which was built in 1874. The project aims to restore the station to its original characteristics, enhancing its historical significance.

The work will involve both the primary Residence and Guest House structures, which have been previously stabilized and reconstructed. The BLM's mission includes preserving historical sites, and this contract aligns with their goal of maintaining cultural heritage.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for fabricating and installing four (4) entry doors and five (5) single-hung windows at the Canyon Creek Station. This includes all necessary materials and labor for installation, trim, paneling, and painting to match existing structures.

Additional work involves minor masonry repairs at thresholds prior to door installation and wood trim around gable areas for dormer windows. The project must adhere to the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on September 1, 2026, and is expected to be completed by December 30, 2027.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be classified as a Small Business as this opportunity is set aside for total small business participation. Contractors are required to furnish performance and payment bonds within 10 calendar days after award. Additionally, bidders must comply with all solicitation requirements including technical specifications and representations.
