Background
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is issuing a solicitation for canned vegetable products to support Domestic Food Assistance Programs, including the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and other Federal Food and Nutrition Assistance Programs.

Work Details
The solicitation requests offers for various canned vegetable products, including:

- Mixed vegetables in 12/15 oz and 12/29 oz cans
- Cut green beans in 12/14.5 oz cans
- Low sodium collard greens in 12/14 oz cans

Specifications include sodium content limits, minimum drain weights, and proportions for mixed vegetables. Mixed vegetables must include carrots and potatoes at 40% (+/-) 10% each, lima beans, peas, green beans, corn, and celery at a minimum of 2% each with a total of potatoes, carrots, and other sub-types equaling 100%.

Green beans must have a minimum drain weight of 7.8 oz with a maximum sodium content of 380 mg per serving. Low sodium collard greens must have a minimum drain weight of 9.1 oz with sodium content of 140 mg or less per serving.

Period of Performance
Deliveries are to be made between July 1, 2023 through December 31, 2023.

Place of Performance
Purchases will be made on an f.o.b. destination basis to various cities as listed in the solicitation.
