The cemetery is not only recognized for its historical significance but also holds the esteemed distinction of being listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It serves as a final resting place for five recipients of the Medal of Honor. As a satellite cemetery, it falls under the supervision of the Director and staff of the Washington Crossing National Cemetery, located at 830 Highland Rd., Newtown Pa. 18940, approximately 21 miles away.
