Solicitation 36C24725Q0537 is issued as a request for quotation. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as A SDVOSB set-aside, the associated NAICS code is 492110 and small business size 1500 employees. DESCRIPTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Networking Office 7 is looking to award a firm-fixed price contract and reimbursement will be on a per-delivery run basis. Contractor will provide courier service for RMD pickup and delivery for Sterile Processing Services, Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System (CAVHCS). Sterile Processing Services (SPS) is a full-service sterile processing department performing reprocessing at Montgomery (West Campus) site. All RMD collected for reprocessing must be delivered to SPS on west campus, in adequate time to preserve the integrity of the RMD. With current workload and VA patient population, it is necessary that all RMD are delivered to SPS at West Campus, Monday through Friday, twice (2) per day for MVAC and Tuskegee. Line 1 will be exercise on an everyday basis unless an event occurs with SPS to exercise Lines 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. Lines 1, 3, 4 and 5 will not be excise at the same time. Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Networking Office 7 is seeking to award a firm-fixed price contract for courier services. This contract is aimed at providing essential transportation for reusable medical devices (RMD) to ensure timely delivery and maintain the integrity of the items processed at the Sterile Processing Services (SPS) located at the Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System (CAVHCS). The solicitation is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB).

Work Details
The contractor will provide courier services for RMD pickup and delivery for SPS at CAVHCS. Key tasks include:
1. Delivering clean RMD from Perry Hill Road, Montgomery, AL (West Campus) to MVAC and Tuskegee locations twice daily, Monday through Friday.
2. Ensuring that all RMD collected for reprocessing is delivered in a timely manner to preserve integrity.
3. Performing miscellaneous trips within the CAVHCS area as needed, including emergency requests with a two-hour notification.
4. Adhering to strict guidelines regarding the separation of clean and soiled instruments during transport.
5. Maintaining temperature and humidity controls during transport of sterile items.
6. Providing necessary documentation such as logs for pickups and deliveries, and temperature records when applicable.

Period of Performance
Base Year: July 27, 2025 through July 26, 2026; Option Year 1: July 27, 2026 through July 26, 2027; Option Year 2: July 27, 2027 through July 26, 2028; Option Year 3: July 27, 2028 through July 26, 2029; Option Year 4: July 27, 2029 through July 26, 2030.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed primarily in Montgomery, Alabama at the West Campus Sterile Processing Services location and other specified VA facilities within the Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System area.
