PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FROM ANY ENTITY OTHER THAN THE PREVIOUSLY LISTED FIRMS INCLUDED IN THE GROUP 1 - UNRESTRICTED DREDGING MATOC POOL.

Solicitation will be issued on or about 07 February 2023.

Magnitude of Construction is between $25,000,000.00 - $50,000,000.00.

Small Business Size Standard: $32.5 MILLION

The Contractor shall be required to (a) commence work under this contract within 60 calendar days after the date the Contractor receives the notice to proceed, (b) prosecute the work diligently, and (c) complete the entire work ready for use not later than 345 calendar days after the Contractor receives the notice to proceed. The time stated for completion shall include final cleanup of the premises.

The total completion time of 345 calendar days includes the following:

Base 250 calendar days (includes 60 calendar days mob/demob)

Option A 30 calendar days

Option B 15 calendar days

Option C 20 calendar days

Option D 30 calendar days

Canaveral Harbor maintenance dredging will require removal of shoal material from identified dredging areas shown on the plans. Project work will be split between base and four options as shown below. A portion of the dredge material, as indicated on the
plans, will be evaluated for disposal into the Nearshore Disposal Area. The Contractor will determine if the material being dredged within these cuts to be less than 20 percent fines, and do so based on a visual inspection of the material as it is placed into scows. If determination indicates the material is not nearshore quality, then the material will be disposed of in the designated Ocean Dredged Material Disposal Site (ODMDS). All otherdredge areas will be disposed of into the ODMDS. Project work also includes environmental species monitoring and turbidity monitoring, and stand by time.
Base work consists of maintenance dredging the locations to required depths indicated in the table below and shown on the drawings. Shoal material removed from dredge areas from Cut-1 Station 69+00 to Cut 2 Station 182+20 and the South Jetty Sediment Trap, will be disposed of in the designated Ocean Dredged Material Disposal Site (ODMDS) as shown on the drawings and as directed by the Contracting Officer. Additional Base work also includes mobilization and demobilization, turbidity monitoring,
environmental species monitoring, standby time, and partnering regroup.

Option A work consists of supplying additional maintenance dredging along the Civil Works Portion of the Federally Authorized Project. The locations and required depths are indicated in the table below and shown on the drawings. The placement of the
dredged material will be in accordance with placement specified in the base work. Option A work also includes turbidity monitoring and environmental species monitoring.

Option B work consists of supplying additional maintenance dredging along the Navy Military portion of the project. The locations and required depth are indicated in the table shown below and shown on the drawings. The placement of the dredged material will be in accordance with placement specified in the base work. Option B work also includes turbidity monitoring and environmental species monitoring.

Option C work consists of supplying additional maintenance dredging along the Civil Works portion of the Federally Authorized Project. The locations and required depth are indicated in the table shown below and shown on the drawings. The placement of the
dredged material will be in accordance with placement specified in the base work. Option C work also includes turbidity monitoring and environmental species monitoring.
