Canadian Goose Processing NEW Windsor NY for USDA WS NY   2

Background
The U.S. Department of Agricultural (USDA) Animal Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) Wildlife Services (WS) program is looking to create a contract or contracts with one or more meat processing facilities to process Canada Geese in the State of New York. The processing facility or facilities shall be '5A Exempt' permitted, approved by the New York State (NYS) Department of Agriculture and Markets to process meat, and shall follow 'Guidelines for Slaughter and Processing of Canada Geese for Human Consumption' as developed by NYS Agriculture and Markets.

Work Details
The contractor is required to process live Canada geese per the attached Statement of Work and Price Schedule on an as-needed basis. The total annual not to exceed amount is 4,000 each, and the total contact amount is not to exceed 20,000 each over 5 years. The minimum guarantee for the Base Year is 50 each; no minimum guarantee for follow on years 2 - 5. The geese will be euthanized by the facility.
The immediate need is for a processing facility in each of the following regions: the Hudson Valley (Interstate 87 corridor), Lake Ontario plain (Interstate 90 corridor), and Lake Erie plain region (Interstate 90 corridor), NY.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the contract is from 03/01/2023 to 02/28/2028, with a Base Year from 03/01/2023 - 02/29/2024 and four Option / follow on Annual Years.

Place of Performance
The processing facility or facilities are required in specific regions of New York: the Hudson Valley, Lake Ontario plain, and Lake Erie plain region.
