Camp Lejeune Chemicals   3

Background
This solicitation is issued by the Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, for the procurement of chemicals necessary to treat water and ensure safe potable water for base operations. The contractor will provide all labor, transportation, materials, and equipment required for chemical supplies to be delivered to various locations within the base. The goal is to improve water quality, remove harmful contaminants, and provide safe drinking water for processes and agriculture.

Work Details
The contract includes the supply of seventeen (17) different chemicals to be delivered to twenty-nine (29) locations at MCB Camp Lejeune and Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) New River. The chemicals include:

1. Sulfuric Acid Solution 33-39% - Estimated quantity: 6,500 gallons/year
2. Liquid Sodium Hypochlorite - Estimated quantity: 111,000 gallons/year
3. Calcium Hypochlorite Granular - Estimated quantity: 225 drums/year
4. Sodium Fluoride - Estimated quantity: 700 bags (50 lb each)/year
5. Rock Salt - Estimated quantity: 55 tons/year
6. Methanol - Estimated quantity: 37,000 gallons/year
7. Liquid Aluminum Sulfate - Estimated quantity: 700 tons/year
8. Sulfuric Acid 50% - Estimated quantity: 4,000 gallons/year
9. Sodium Hydroxide 25% - Estimated quantity: 20,000 gallons/year
10. Muriatic Acid - Estimated quantity: 400 cases/year
11. Carus 4200 or equal - Estimated quantity: 100 drums/year
12. Sugar Water WT-310 CS - Estimated quantity: 100 totes/year
13. Sulfuric Acid 93% - Estimated quantity: 51,000 gallons/year
14. Sodium Bisulfite Liquid 38-40% - Estimated quantity: 20,000 gallons/year
15. Aqual Flow Lime Slurry - Estimated quantity: 70,000 gallons/year
16. Hydrofluosilicic Acid - Estimated quantity: 5,000 gallons/year.
Each chemical will be delivered quarterly with three monthly deliveries per order.

Period of Performance
Base Year from June 15, 2025 through June 14, 2026 with an option year from June 15, 2026 through June 14, 2027.

Place of Performance
Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune and Marine Corps Air Station New River in North Carolina.
