Camp Arifjan Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) System   2

Background
The contract is issued by the U.S. Army for the acquisition of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. The mission of the agency is to ensure reliable power supply systems for military operations, enhancing operational readiness and efficiency.

The goal of this contract is to replace outdated UPS units and associated components to maintain continuous power supply and support critical operations.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide four (4) new Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) units along with batteries, battery racks, cables, and to replace existing UPS 7 & 8 distribution boards (DBs). Specific tasks include:
1. Replace UPS1, UPS2, UPS3, and UPS6 including batteries, transformers, racks, cables, main feeders, disconnect switches, and any other necessary items for efficient operation.
2. Replace all DBs associated with each load side of UPS 1 to UPS 8.
3. Provide temporary power supply for computers and data racks by connecting to the nearest circuits of the same voltage and frequency after conducting a load assessment.
4. Haul all dismantled equipment to a designated location.
5. Install required labeling from feeder to UPS to DBs and receptacles.
6. Conduct testing and commissioning prior to energization and turnover.
7. Provide training on the sequence of operation as required.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is 190 calendar days from the award date.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Camp Arifjan in Kuwait.
