Calibrations for Small Lab Equipment (Balances, Centrifuges, etc.)

Background
The Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) is a public health regulatory agency of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) that ensures meat, poultry, and egg products are safe, wholesome, and accurately labeled.

The purpose of this solicitation is to establish a firm fixed price maintenance agreement for the calibration of various lab equipment at the FSIS Western Lab, which is ISO/IEC 17025 accredited.

Work Details
The contractor will provide onsite ISO 17025 calibration services for the following equipment located at the FSIS Western Laboratory:

- 15 Centrifuges
- 26 Balances
- 3 Microscopes
- 5 Shakers
- 3 Can Seam Micrometers
- 5 Reference Thermometers.

The equipment list may be modified during the agreement term; additions will incur extra charges while deletions will be prorated. The calibration services must meet accreditation requirements.

Period of Performance
The contract period of performance is from July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027 for the base year, with options for two additional years extending through June 30, 2029.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with ISO/IEC 17025 standards for calibration services. There are no specific security clearances or certifications mentioned beyond the requirement to provide ISO-compliant services.
