Background
The National Institute of Health’s Clinical Center intends to award a twenty-eight days contract to Caitta Inc. for qualified, medically licensed individuals who are qualified Diagnostic Radiologists, Neuroradiologists, Interventional Radiologists and/or Nuclear Medicine Physicians.

This acquisition is being conducted using policies unique to exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT), allowing solicitation from one source if deemed necessary.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide qualified, medically licensed individuals who are qualified Diagnostic Radiologists, Neuroradiologists, Interventional Radiologists and/or Nuclear Medicine Physicians.

The incumbent will perform all medical activities in the RAD&IS within the NIH/CC on the Bethesda MD campus or remotely if requested.

The Interventional Radiologist will work daily from 7:30am to 4:30pm per month and take rotating call per departmental policy from 5pm to 8am Monday thru Thursday and from Friday 5pm to Monday 8am.

The diagnostic radiologist (neuroradiology and or body imaging specialists) will work 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. M-F and take rotating remote off-site call from 5:00pm – 8:00 a.m. Monday through Thursday and Friday 5:00pm through 8 a.m. Monday morning.

The nuclear medicine physician will work between core hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 pm. M-F and/or hourly after hours and weekends by request of section chief.

Once the contract is awarded, qualified proposed physician candidates must complete the credentialing process of the CC/NIH in order to begin work. The contractor shall report directly to the section chief or deputy chief, but may also report to the daily Attending Radiologist or nuclear medicine physician as designated by section or deputy section chief.
