Cafeteria and Concession Services at USMMA   3

Background
The United States Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA) is a Federal Service Academy that educates and graduates leaders, known as Midshipmen, who are inspired to serve the national security, marine transportation, and economic needs of the United States as licensed Merchant Marine Officers and commissioned officers in the Armed Forces.

This contract aims to provide full-scale food services at the Academy located in Kings Point, NY.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform full-scale food services. The services include: quality food service for Delano Hall; Academy Training Vessel; Team Movement; Topside Dining Room; Patten Clinic Infirmary; Special Events, Dinners and Catering Requests such as Birthday Celebrations and Arrival of Plebe Class.

The contractor must comply with New York State Board of Health regulations and collaborate closely with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). Performance objectives include quality, timeliness, customer satisfaction, sanitation, staffing stability, and management oversight.

Period of Performance
The anticipated period of performance is a base period of one year with four one-year option periods.
