Notice of Intent to Solicit From a Single Source

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Immigration and Customs (ICE) Office of Acquisition Management (OAQ) Dallas, TX 75247, intends to solicit from a single source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) to COX Communications, Inc. of Phoenix, AZ for Internet and cable services. This procurement is being conducted under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Contracting Officer has determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available based on COX Communications' capabilities to provide the required services, including levels and speed, at all seven (7) required locations in the Phoenix, AZ area, and that the services are wired, set up, and currently provided by this company.

This notice is for information purposes only and is not a request for quotation. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is within the discretion of the Government Contracting Officer.
