PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE PUBLISHED.

Pursuant to the authority of FAR 13.106-1 (b)(1)(i), Navy Medicine East intends to negotiate a sole source contract to include a base plus 4 option years with Mediacom Southeast, LLC. for cable services on behalf of the Naval Hospital Pensacola, FL. An award was made to Mediacom on 30 SEPT 2021 in the amount of $ 20,379.60 for one year only and now 4 option periods are being added to the contract via a modification. Based on market research conducted, it has been determined cable services can only be provided by Mediacom because they are the only provider in the area that holds a franchise agreement.

This notice will be distributed solely through the SAM.gov website and interested parties are responsible for monitoring the site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement to this office by 3pm, EST, 08 June 2022 by email to Dene Slater, Contracting Officer, at dene.l.slater.civ@mail.mil. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Telephone requests will not be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
