Cable Assembly

Background
The solicitation is for a sole-source contract to Marvin Engineering (CAGE 32067) using other than full and open competition as prescribed by 6.302-1(a)(2). The contract will be an eight-year long-term base contract made of four, two-year fixed price periods. The acquisition provides long-term coverage for new spares, repair, and consumable items that support a variety of platforms including launcher systems, ejector racks, and ground support equipment that support the Hellfire weapons system on various platforms such as Apache (AH-64), F/A-18E/F, A-10, C-130S, and other systems.

Work Details
The contract includes the production of multiple NSNs (National Stock Numbers) under firm fixed price contracts. The NSNs will be negotiated for fixed prices every two years. The products include cable assemblies for various platforms such as launcher systems, ejector racks, and ground support equipment supporting the Hellfire weapons system on multiple aircraft. The contract also requires first article test, flight safety/critical safety item (CSI), SNRR (Supplier Notice of Revision Request), TAMMS-A (The Army Maintenance Management System-Aviation), serial numbering, IUID (Item Unique Identification) markings, bar code marking, and fit check for applicable delivery orders.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the contract is eight years with four two-year fixed price periods.
