Description

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Central Federal Lands Highway Division (CFLHD), in cooperation with Santa Cruz County Regional Transportation Commission (RTC), is proposing to develop a 7.5-mile multi-use bicycle and pedestrian trail that would extend along the RTC-owned railroad corridor from Wilder Ranch State Park north to Davenport in unincorporated Santa Cruz County. The Proposed Project consists of developing a multi-use trail that would include an asphalt paved path with unpaved gravel shoulders. In addition, two parking lots along Highway 1 would be improved providing visitor amenities and ADA access to the trail.

Background

Work Details
The areas for these deliverables are tangent (inline) guardrail terminals, temporary crash cushions, and temporary concrete barriers.
These items are required materials for California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) Highway Safety Features within the portion of the project within Caltrans right-of-way (ROW).
The total estimated amount of this product is as follows:
Tangent Guardrail Terminals: (Items range between for 4 EA each)
2018 Temporary Crash Cushions: (Items range between for 3 EA each)
Temporary Concrete Barriers: (Items range between per LNFT for 2,640 LNFT)
