The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VA Sunshine Healthcare Network, Veterans Integrated Service Network 8 (VISN 8), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 08, is seeking to acquire professional architectural/engineering services necessary for a Multiple Award Task Order Contract for work within Florida and Puerto Rico. Task Order work may include but is not limited to the following: master planning; schematic design, design development, construction documents, special studies, risk analysis, field surveying; site and facility investigation; preparation of special conceptual and technical studies; concept and feasibility studies; material investigation and color studies; preparation of engineering studies, analysis, and/or investigation, and preparation of Architectural-Engineering (AE) documents and reports for project documents with associated structural, civil, landscaping, mechanical, electrical, historical, environmental subsurface soil investigations and incidental work; preparation of design documents to include building and ground alteration, maintenance, repair and construction; cost and schedule estimates; and construction period services to include monitoring and evaluating the construction progress for conformance to plans and specifications which also includes reviewing the required submittals from other contractors. Background
The purpose of this A/E MATOC is to provide professional architectural/engineering services necessary for master planning; schematic design, design development, construction documents, special studies, risk analysis, field surveying, commissioning; site and facility investigation; preparation of special conceptual and technical studies; concept and feasibility studies; material investigation and color studies; preparation of engineering studies, analysis, and/or investigation, and preparation of A/E documents and reports for projects with associated structural, civil, landscaping, mechanical, electrical, historical, environmental subsurface soil investigations and incidental work; preparation of design documents to include building and ground alteration, maintenance, repair and construction; cost and schedule estimates; and construction period services to include monitoring and evaluating the construction progress for conformance to plans and specifications which also includes reviewing the required submittals from other contractors. The A/E MATOC will provide professional services for various multi-discipline projects (Architectural, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Cost Estimating, Master Planning, Special Studies, Historic Preservation, Energy Management, and Regulatory Compliance Reviews/Assessments) for the VA VISN 8 healthcare facilities located in Florida and Puerto Rico as well as the VISN Network Office.

Work Details
The A/E is required to furnish services that may include field survey; site and facility investigation; preparation of special technical studies; analyses of structural systems; feasibility and concept studies; material investigation; preparation of engineering analysis and/or investigation and preparation of documents and reports associated architectural, structural, civil, landscaping, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, environmental, asbestos, subsurface soil investigations. Work also includes but is not limited to those items normally furnished by an A/E in the actual preparation of the design documents (plans, drawings), estimates (specifications), submittal register. The A/E shall perform all necessary work required to produce detailed documents required to accomplish the project as specifically identified in each Task Order. The A/E shall mobilize personnel within ten calendar days from receipt of the award unless otherwise determined in the task order or by the Contracting Officer (CO). Other than what is required for all acquisitions as described herein or in the lead contract. The required deliverables for any of the services awarded will be addressed within each task order.
