Project # 626A4-23-203 for A/E Design Services as required to prepare complete contract drawings, specifications, technical reports, and cost estimates, including construction period services for "Upgrade Fire Alarm System at the VA Tennessee Valley Healthcare System, Murfreesboro Campus, 3400 Lebanon Road, Murfreesboro, TN 37129. The A/E shall provide all necessary architectural and engineering services as required to prepare complete contract drawings, specifications, technical reports, and cost estimates, including construction period services for "Upgrade Fire Alarm System at the VA Tennessee Valley Healthcare System, Murfreesboro Campus, 3400 Lebanon Road, Murfreesboro, TN 37129. This project will design for and upgrade approximately 1 million square feet of existing, obsolete, and non-compliant fire alarm system and components to meet current codes and standards and ensure compatibility campus wide. The upgrades will include panels, strobes, speakers, wiring upgrades to fiber, ancillary equipment/devices, and software to make system fully addressable. Project will also perform code analysis on buildings where fire alarm systems are lacking - design systems as required across the Alvin C. York Campus, Murfreesboro Tennessee. Design work includes, but not limited to professional design services of Architects and Mechanical & Electrical Engineers. Design work will be performed by a licensed professional design firm and includes, but not limited to the disciplines of architectural, mechanical, electrical, and fire alarm.
