C130J Field Loadable Magnetic Variation (MagVar) Table

REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI)

The Government is conducting market research to determine a vendor for updating the MagVar database installed on the Honeywell CNI-SP. C-130J MagVar Database supports AC/EC/HC/MC-130J Mission Design Series for the USAF. This update will be a one time update to bring all current USAF C-130J block 6.0 ACFT up to the newest MagVar database. The MagVar database will be installed on the maintenance laptops and uploaded to the CNI-SP. The level of security clearance and amount of foreign participation in this requirement has not been determined.

The Government does not own or have access to the data for these items. The Government has determined that this system is a commercial item. Commercial item descriptions, commercial vendor catalog or price lists or commercial manuals assigned a technical manual number apply.

Contractor shall furnish all material, support equipment, tools, test equipment, and services. The contractor is responsible for obtaining magnetic variance data files, converting MagVar database from Aeronautical Radio, Incorporated (ARINC) 424 format to P2000 format to be uploaded to the CNI-SP, uploading the MagVar database in the central repository (website) to be accessible to only military users to download, manage website user access, restrict MagVar database viewing to only military users, provide technical support to only military users as needed, and ensure cyclic redundancy check executable will be provided for Compact Disc (CD) generation and accessible to military users only.
