C/KC-135 Increased Capacity Latrine   4

Background
The solicitation is for the procurement of an Increased Capacity Latrine for the C/KC-135. The effort required for the contractor is to deliver replacement Increased Capacity Latrine to the United States Air Force. The scope of this program is to replace the existing KC-135 latrine with a larger model with at least 8 gallons of capacity. The size of the new latrine is limited to the existing footprint within the latrine compartment. The new latrine cannot interfere with existing structures, components, or access to aircraft systems.
No modification to major aircraft load bearing structures is allowed.
The latrine should be comfortable, according to industry standard.

Work Details
The specific products to be manufactured or delivered under the contract include low-rate production and full-rate production kits, as well as spare kits for Air National Guard (ANG) and Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC). The effort shall use a systems-based engineering process that defines the requirements and updates the engineering products necessary to qualify the solution.
The contractor shall deliver meeting minutes, reports and analysis supporting Airworthiness Approval, installation and maintenance instructions, as well as Increased Capacity Latrine kits.
The Increased Capacity Latrine must have a capacity of at least 8 gallons, fit within the existing latrine compartment without interfering with specific aircraft components, and be installed and secured without any modification to the existing aircraft or load-bearing structures.
