C-130J Contractor Kit Installation of the Combined MILSATCOM ARC-210 Gen 6 plus MUOS Modification to the United States Air Force (USAF) Fleet Market Research/SSS

Background
The United States Air Force (USAF) is conducting market research to identify potential sources and subcontracting opportunities for the retrofit installation of an ARC-210 Gen 6 radio suite on 165 total USAF C-130J Aircraft. The purpose is to find firms with the expertise, capabilities, and experience to respond to all requirements competently and competitively.

Work Details
The upcoming contract will require successful offerors to conduct multiple Contractor Field Teams (CFTs) for the retrofit installation at dispersed C-130J USAF Squadrons. The tasks include the removal of existing ARC-210 Gen 3, 4, 5 suites, RCU, and wiring harness and cabling; inventory, documentation, and packaging of removed components; provision of installation kits including Principal End Items (PEI) and necessary drawings, consumables, and installation instructions; ensuring technical proficiency of assigned personnel; providing cost, scheduled, and task-related documentation; performing required operational and functional tests; planning for a total time tentatively estimated at 200 hours per aircraft across CONUS and OCONUS locations.

Period of Performance
The effort for the CKI of the Combined C-130J MILSATCOM ARC-210 Gen 6 Modification is anticipated to commence on or about 1st Quarter FY27. The contract period of performance is expected to be 3 years.

Place of Performance
The retrofit actions will occur both at CONUS and OCONUS locations.
