Description

A requirement has been identified for production of C-130 Receiver Transmitter Processor (RTP) applicable to APN-241 Low Power Color Radar (LPCR), NSN 5841-01-522-1618LG, part number 780R270G10 in following estimated quantities:

Ordering period I: 1 to 25 ea.

Ordering period II: 1 to 25 ea.

Ordering period III: 1 to 10 ea.

Ordering period IV: 1 to 10 ea.

The RTP is used on multiple variations of the C-130 aircraft with APN-241 Low Power Color Radar, a low power, lightweight pulsed Doppler radar in the transport class with a high resolution synthetic aperture radar mapping mode. The radar is used for precision navigation and for landing missions on unimproved runways without aid from ground-based landing systems.

This NSN is coded AMC/S 3/R sole source to be acquired directly from actual manufacturer. The Gov't does not possess data rights to this item.

RFP is expected to post to Contracting Opportunities at SAM.gov on or around 11 June 2023.

This item is sole source to Northrup Grumman System Corp, CAGE 1LTU5 NO DATA IS AVAILABLE.

A firm fixed price contract is anticipated with delivery to DLA Distribution Robins AFB GA covering a 4 year timeframe comprised of four ordering periods of 12 months each. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency.
