C-130 AN/APN-241 Low Power Radar Receiver Transmitter Processor

Background
The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources that possess the repair data, expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet qualification requirements to convert the C-130H to C-130J Receiver Transmitter Processor (RTP) for the AN/APN-241 Low Power Color Radar (LPCR). This system is considered a commercial item, and technical data distribution will be authorized to Department of Defense (DoD) and United States DoD contractors. Northrop Grumman System Corporation (NGSC) is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for these NSNs.

Work Details
The work involves converting the C-130H Receiver Transmitter Processor (RTP) NSN 5841-01-591-5803LG to C-130J Receiver Transmitter Processor (RTP) NSN 5841-01-522-1618LG. The contract requires conversion services over a three-year period, continuing through FY26, with a projected quantity of 20 each. The AN/APN-241 Low Power Color Radar (LPCR) is a major system with highly specialized firmware, hardware, and software integration across various aircraft models.
