Bus Transportation for Gowen Thunder Air Show

Background
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The Government intends to use simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with 13.106 and 13.5.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all necessary supervision, personnel, labor, material, and vehicles necessary to provide busing and on the ground dispatcher services for transporting attendees to and from Gowen Field, to previously identified lots. The contract provides attendee transportation (in the form of bus service) for civilian personnel in the State of Idaho, attending the Gowen Thunder Open House at Gowen Field, Boise, Idaho 83705. This bus service is specifically for attendees needing transportation to the event on October 14th and 15th. Attendees will park at one of 6 parking lots where they will wait for bus services to convey them to Gowen Field, Boise, ID 83705.
The majority of traffic will be inbound during 8:00 a.m. to 1200 p.m.; a majority will be outbound during 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The estimated number of guests will be 60,000 on the 26th and 50,000 on the 27th. All passengers will need transportation to the event and back to the parking lots throughout the day.
